About this camp

Camp Awesome is a laid-back beach camp at Playa del Rey (and Redondo Beach) where kids spend their days in the sun with water games, sand play, arts and crafts, and active social time under close supervision by CPR/First Aid-certified staff. The camp uses a membership-plus-daily-booking model, giving families maximum scheduling flexibility — pay for the days you actually need rather than committing to full weeks. Three age-based programs keep groups developmentally appropriate: MINI for the youngest campers with extra support, PLUS for the classic beach experience, and PRO for older kids with team challenges and leadership opportunities. Daily ice cream truck visits and optional pizza lunches round out the laid-back, beach-community vibe. LA County Beaches and Harbors certified.
