About this camp
Camp Internship for Leadership Training for students entering grades 10-12. Volunteer internship developing leadership and 21st-century skills by working with children in a supervised camp environment. CILTs teach games, songs, and lead activities; build connections with campers through compassionate mentorship; and rotate through up to four different age-group assignments throughout summer. Minimum commitment: 2 full rotations (4 weeks), strongly encouraged 3-4. Develops 12 competencies: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, information literacy, media literacy, technology literacy, flexibility, leadership, initiative, productivity, and social skills. Mandatory two Saturday orientations before summer. Application and group interview required. Bus transportation from San Fernando and Conejo Valley.
