Counselor-In-Training (C.I.T.) Program

About this camp

This is a leadership opportunity for teens to gain hands-on experience in camp counseling. CITs assist with camp logistics, including drop-off, pick-up, games, and setup, while also helping staff plan and lead activities. This is a selection-based program. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay or a 2-3 minute video explaining why they would like to be a CIT, highlighting leadership skills, and describing why they would be a good fit for the program. All materials should be emailed to Tiffany Doakes at tiffany.doakes@daytonohio.gov. This program builds leadership skills, teamwork, and confidence in a fun camp setting!
