Dublin LEAD

About this camp

The Dublin LEAD program is open to teens entering seventh grade or higher. Participants will have the opportunity to assist City of Dublin staff during summer camp and swim lessons throughout the summer. They will receive training in various job-related skills, including: customer service, job search techniques, and interview skills for recreation professionals. Additional topics will include how to lead an activity, engage participants, water safety skills, playground and park safety, and supervising camp participants. Participants are encouraged to assist with recreation programs for at least two weeks in the summer. Enrolling in this activity serves as an application only. Once enrolled, you will be contacted by City staff to confirm registration and program details. Participants are required to attend the one day training scheduled for Saturday, May 9, at Shannon Community Center, time TBD. Additional summer training dates will be scheduled in June and July, time and location TBD. More information about the LEAD program is available at www.dublin.ca.gov.
