About this camp
Elementary Clay Academy is a two-week-long introduction to the visual arts in the medium of clay for campers ages 8-12. Campers will be able to create in clay during the first week, practicing their hand-building and wheel-throwing skills and being encouraged to fine-tune their artwork. They will glaze and decorate our artwork during the second week of camp. We will host an End-of-Camp Gallery Show on the last Thursday of camp. This camp offers young artists a chance to be introduced to the ceramics medium while also enjoying fun camp favorites like games and team-building activities.
