Backyard Explorers Jr. offers a morning-only camp option for campers entering grades K–1 who thrive in a shorter day while still enjoying the adventure and energy of Backyard Explorers. Hosted at Markham Nature Park, this program delivers the same outdoor spirit, hands-on activities, and playful exploration that define our Backyard Explorers camps - just in a condensed format. Campers will spend their mornings engaged in classic camp fun including games, crafts, cooking activities, science projects, crawdad fishing, and nature walks. Days are active, social, and rooted in outdoor exploration, all under the supervision of our trained camp staff.
