Camp Carefree was established in 1976. Each summer, we host 120 children ages 8-16 living with diabetes at Lions Camp Pride on Merrymeeting Lake. Campers swim, fish, kayak in the lake, explore hiking trails, and more. Lions Camp Pride is accredited by the American Camp Association. Serves: Type 1 Diabetes.
