About this camp
Condor builds self-reliance and responsibility for campers entering 5th-7th grade, with increased decision-making and creative opportunities. Groups of 12-15 campers rotate through six activity periods daily. Activities include archery, arts & crafts, field sports, gaga, hiking, team-building initiatives, nature & ecology, performing arts, swimming, large-scale inter-group games (capture the flag), rock climbing, high ropes courses, and wilderness play. 5th graders do Kinnereteering (engineering projects); 6th-7th graders take woodworking. Counselors demonstrate empathy and strong interpersonal skills, particularly adept at coaching social dynamics in older children. Tech-free. Arrival 9:20 AM, dismissal 3:20 PM.
