About this camp
Stop Motion Animation is a hands-on filmmaking class at The Center for Early Education's Camp Adventure in West Hollywood. Campers learn the art of stop motion by working with clay figures, LEGO builds, whiteboard drawings, and paper cutouts as their "actors." Each child develops an original story — writing a plot, storyboarding the sequence, and then painstakingly capturing frames to bring their creation to life. The process teaches both technical patience and creative storytelling in a way that feels like play. Ideal for kids who love making things move, invent characters, or tell imaginative stories.
