About this camp

Each day at this camp offers a different glimpse into the lives of animals, from the creatures in our backyards to those in far-flung corners of the world. You’ll learn how to identify animal tracks and signs in your own neighborhood, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the Minnesota Zoo’s wildlife hospital. The focus is on immersive experiences, allowing campers to consider what a future working with animals might look like. This camp is designed to spark a love for wildlife and equip young people with the tools to become stewards of the natural world. It’s an opportunity to connect with nature, learn from experts, and explore career paths in animal care and conservation, all while nurturing a sense of wonder and responsibility.
