About this camp

This eight-week Visual and Performing Arts Summer Camp designed specifically for 8-10 year old children, offers a vibrant, hands-on experience where creativity truly comes alive. Campers will explore painting and drawing techniques that develop both foundational skills and personal expression, while puppetry will introduce them to the magic of storytelling through character creation, design and hands-on (manipulation). In filmmaking sessions, participants will learn the fundamentals of production, including creative writing and scripting, acting, filming, and editing, building confidence both in front of and behind the camera. Choir and percussion classes will strengthen their vocal ability, rhythm, collaboration, and stage presence. Beyond the arts, campers will enjoy plenty of fun through games (like pickleball and chess), along with other recreational events and several interesting and exciting field trips. The camp will conclude showcasing creative projects that will bring together visual art, performance, and media, fostering self-expression, teamwork, and artistic exploration in a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment, perfect for engaging children and families alike, while enhancing the natural, cultural, and recreational long-lasting experience at our park. An end of Summer Art Exhibition will be showcased on 7/24/26
